Connect Commute

myOrb asks Google how long the way to today's events takes, with the traffic expected when you leave, and tells you when to leave: in the header, the schedule, the calendar's details and the brief. It looks at events with a place in their location (not "Online" or a link) and starts at home, at work on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00, or at the event before.

1. In the Google Cloud console, pick a project with billing set up (e.g. the one of your Google sign-in) and enable the Routes API.
2. Under APIs & Services → Credentials, create an API key and restrict it to the Routes API.
3. Enter the key and your addresses here. They are sent only to Google, to find the way.
